TeleHospital is the ideal telemedicine solution

  • The Second Medical Opinion service allows you to upload your complete medical file to the platform so a Doctor/Medical Team/Oncology Board can review it thoroughly and formulate a medical opinion on the diagnosis and the diagnostic and/or treatment plan which is most appropriate for your case – always based on the available medical data in your file.
  • The 24/7 service is for cases requiring prompt but not emergency medical assistance. (The service is explained in detail under the specific section). Through this service, you can come into contact with General Practitioners within 2 hours via video call and consult with them about the issue that concerns you.
  • The Virtual Outpatient Clinics service initially provides access to 4 medical specialties available on an outpatient basis (Internist, Orthopedist, Neurologist, Ophthalmologist). Very soon, you will be able to access more than 19 medical specialties through this service.
  • The Virtual Specialization Departments service provides access to top, highly specialized Doctors (such as a Microsurgeon, Bariatric Surgeon, and others), who, depending on the specific aspects of your case, will provide you with a medical opinion regarding the diagnostic and/or treatment plan they recommend you to follow.

A complete medical file allows the Doctor to better understand the patient’s condition and to support the recommended treatment plan.

You can prepare the information related to your medical history and make a list of the medications you are on. You can also prepare questions & concerns about your condition so you can ask your Doctor about them during the teleconsultation (depending on the service you selected).

So you can be better prepared, collect medical documents and information such as:

  • Medical opinions from Doctors
  • Laboratory test results
  • Ultrasound results
  • Imaging test results
  • Endoscopy results
  • Biopsy results
  • Your social security number (AMKA)

If you have imaging test results available, it is important for the Doctor to assess them, especially as part of the Second Medical Opinion service. Remember that the more complete your medical file, the more effectively the Doctor will be able to assess your case and guide you in the best possible management of your health.

Medical imaging files in a DICOM format can be uploaded to the TeleHospital platform. These include:

  • X-rays
  • CT scans
  • MRI scans
  • CT angiography scans
  • Cardiac catheterization images

 

TeleHospital’s policy on protection of personal data (Privacy Policy) is posted on the website and you can refer to it regarding any issues of concern.

TeleHospital is a secure platform that complies with all encryption protocols. In addition, all information and medical data provided by both the patient and the Doctor are processed within the platform, without the use of external resources for the exchange of personal data (e.g. e-mail).

Identity card or passport particulars, as well as personal data pertaining to the patient are retained for six months after the patient’s last entry into the platform.

Imaging test data (DICOM) and forms from tests which were attached are retained for one month from the user’s last entry to the platform.

Two methods of payment are available on the TeleHospital platform.

The first involves payment made when redirected to the bank’s secure environment, where you enter the details of your card and are charged according to the service you have selected.

The second type applies if you have obtained a voucher for the service you are interested in. The code on the voucher is entered in the box on the payment page to receive the discount.

There is a posted price list with the cost of each service.

No. The issuing of a paperless prescription (e-prescription), in cases where it is possible and provided it is necessary, is included in the cost of the service.
